Description

That is Maya running XD and that title is because of the soccer match we had last Sunday..we lost it... In my team are a lot people that are to lazy to run.... and that was really annoying, because then I have to run their ,,part" too -,-. So I shouted that sentence toward them and everybody heard it XD and looked at me. I hope you like that drawing maybe you can make a critique

Okay, so this is my VERY first critique, so bear with me. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> I just saw that you wanted a critique and I thought it'd be fun to give it a go!

First off, I seriously LOVE this piece. It's definitely one of my favorites that you've done.
Here's what I adore about it:
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletgreen:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="209" title="Bullet; Green"/> The pose is so dynamic and full of energy! I greatly admire anyone who can draw a really nice running pose. A lot of people draw the legs splayed out all weird, but you balanced it very well. It looks very natural. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletgreen:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="209" title="Bullet; Green"/> This anatomy is seriously some of the best you've done. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletgreen:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="209" title="Bullet; Green"/> The way you color fur is very smooth and almost realistic. I seriously love it!

Here are a few things that could make it even better: (and DON'T stress over any of these. I think they're all very minor things, and you're already such a fantastic artist!)

<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletgreen:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="209" title="Bullet; Green"/> Maybe make her head just SLIGHTLY bigger? Her muzzle's the right size, but I think the whole thing would be spot-on if you'd just made her skull a little bigger and rounder.
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletgreen:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="209" title="Bullet; Green"/> Since you do anatomy so well, I think you could be really good at defining the muscles a bit more. Look at diagrams of a wolf's muscle structure, and shade them in a bit when you draw! I hope that makes sense. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let…" width="15" height="15" alt=":P" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="395" title=":P (Lick)"/> If you define some of her muscle, especially on her legs, you can potentially make her look even more powerful.
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletgreen:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="209" title="Bullet; Green"/> I LOVE how smooth your fur style is, but I think you could benefit from throwing a bit of brown, black, and even some golden colors in her fur. Real gray wolves have flecks and streaks in their fur when the light catches them. If you can capture that effect here, you'll be a truly FANTASTIC artist.

Whelp, I hope that made sense and I hope it helps you out a little! Like I said, This is seriously one of the best things I've seen from you. GREAT job, love! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="38" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="160" title="Hug"/>
